Spirit project junior summer camp

“Come as you are, flex your creative and social muscles, and be a part of something joyful.”

The Spirit Project Junior Summer Camp is a one week extravaganza where teens with and without intellectual and/or physical disabilities, Autism and/or dual diagnosis can come together to flex their artistic muscles, make new friends, and celebrate the start of summer.  Over the course of the week participants will play games, sing, dance, make art and more importantly build friendships and have a blast.  The camp is offered by Solo Chicken in partnership with The Charlotte Street Arts Centre and The TNB Theatre School and will take place in the beautiful Charlotte Street Arts Centre Auditorium.

What is the Spirit Project?

Since 2019 Solo Chicken has been running The Spirit Project, a weekly workshop where adults with and without intellectual and/or physical disabilities, Autism and/or dual diagnosis come together to share the joys of inclusive living and to create dynamic, engaging, luminous art.  Run in partnership with L’Arche Fredericton and The Charlotte Street Arts Centre, The Spirit Project artists meet weekly to create, perform, eat, laugh, and share the joys of living in community.  After five years of running The Spirit Project we decided it was time for SP to become a big sister and share the joy!
