It’s back, and bigger and gayer than ever!

This year, Solo Chicken Productions and the Charlotte Street Arts Centre hosted the Big Gay Cabaret, an evening of queer joy and resistance in order to raise funds to support 2SLGBTQIA+ rights in New Brunswick. Because of its popularity and the continued need to fight for queer rights, we have decided to make the Big Gay Cabaret an annual event!

We are seeking applications from 2SLGTBQIA+ artists to perform in next year’s Cabaret! Performances of any kind are welcome, including theatre, dance, drag, comedy, poetry, music, and more! This year’s Cabaret theme is “REBEL.” Applicants are encouraged to incorporate themes of resistance, queer rage and unabashed self-expression into their proposed performances!
